Hi,
This may be duplicate of bug # 199832, but it seems to explain it for mozilla
1.3. I am using mozilla 1.5 and still has the same problem. I have a JSP file
which tries to write some data on output stream. When i try to save as.. it
shows file name as 'download.sql.jsp'.
I searched through the Edit Preferences , Helper applications, and there is
no list for test/sql. Still this works as intended in IE 6.0
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Sample JSP Code:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
<%@ page import="java.io.*" %>
<%
String filename = "Download.sql";
response.setContentType("text/sql");
response.setHeader("Content-disposition",
"attachment;filename=\"" + filename + "\"");
response.addHeader("Content-description", "SQL File");
ServletOutputStream outStream = response.getOutputStream();
FileInputStream fis = new FileInputStream("c:/temp/rose.sql");
int size = fis.available();
byte [] data = new byte[size];
fis.read(data);
outStream.write(data);
fis.close();
System.out.println("Wrote ==> " + size);
outStream.flush();
outStream.close();
%>
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Actual Results:
save as dialog box showed file name as 'Download.sql.jsp'
Expected Results:
show file name as 'Download.sql'
This way when i say Open, it will open with my default application, in this case
'Vim'
:)
I was using tomcat/jboss bundle to test it.

well, the correct component would have been "file handling"; but, this is
already fixed, after 1.5.
