User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6a) Gecko/20031030
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6a) Gecko/20031030
On a multi-headed display, if the browser is not on the same screen as the
Windows Taskbar, pressing F11 to go to full-screen mode hides the taskbar, even
though it is on a different display.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Mozilla or Firebird
2. Move browser to display 2 (make sure the Windows Taskbar is on display 1)
3. Press F11 to go to Full Screen mode
Actual Results:
1. Mozilla/Firebird goes to full-screen on display two
2. Windows Taskbar disappears on display one
Expected Results:
If the browser is not on the same display as the Windows Taskbar, it should not
hide the Taskbar. That is, on a multi-headed system, it should be possible to
have the browser full-screen on a secondary display, and still display the
Windows Taskbar on the primary display
It appears to be linked to the window focus. The taskbar disappears whilst the
browser window has focus. If you switch to an application on another display,
the taskbar returns, as does clicking on the desktop on the primary display.
Then returning the focus to the browser hides the taskbar again.
A check should be added to ensure that the browser only modifies the taskbar IFF
it is on the same display as the taskbar.
