If you click on the down arrow for history and hold it, the list jumps down
about two lines (it seperates from the input).  Furthermore, a menu containing
"Navigation Toolbar / Bookmarks Toolbar / Customize..." pops up.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on down arrow, and hold.
2.

Actual Results:  
Menu detaches, and additional menu pops up.

Expected Results:  
History list should have remained displayed, and additional menu should not have
popped up.

I noticed the same thing, Mac OS X 20031113 Firebird/0.7+

However I also noticed it for a lot of other buttons that you add to your
toolbar, not just history (downloads, go, bookmarks, etc.).

My guess is that this context menu was added to allow the user to remove a
button again (via the customize option), although it obviously doesn't look as
polished as a simple "remove button" option :)

it's not detaching for me (Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O;
en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031208 Firebird/0.7+) but it is hard to dismiss if you
click and hold on it.  is that what's happening for you guys now?

If I click and hold on History on the toolbar, I now just see a single context
menu showing Navigation Toolbar/Bookmarks Toolbar/Customize... Seems like a
strange menu to have for that particular button (apart from the customize
option), but no detachment.

not the history button, but the history dropdown on the back button.  i'm
confirming this, something is definitely broken there.
