Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/103u (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/100 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031114 When you're creating/editing a filter, if you enter the Customize... dialog to define a new header and you click Cancel, the UI for the filter editor dialog gets messed up and can't be used. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch Mozilla and open the Mail and News window. 2. Select Tools:Message Filters from the menu bar. (the Message Filters window appears) 3. Click the New... button to create a new filter. (a window appears that will let you createa a new filter) 4. In the top list box (For incoming messages that: Match any/all of the following) click on the header menu (the one that has Subject selected by default) and select Customize... which is at the bottom of the list. (another dialog appears that will let you specify a new custom message header) 5. Click the Cancel button Actual Results: The menu of message headers is dead now -click it and the up-down arrow on the right side highlights, but no additional options are shown. I'm not sure but maybe it thinks there is only 1 option now (Subject)? Also, it's impossible to enter the "text to be matched for" into the text field at the right end of that line in the list box. Even if you click "More" to add more matching steps to the filter, their text boxes are uneditable too. Also, it's impossible to change the filter name. Expected Results: The menu should drop down and show all the options, from Subject down to "Customize..." . You should be able to enter new items. You should be able to change the filter name. Workaround: Click OK (or Cancel) to get out of the New Filter dialog and back to the filter list. Then edit the filter again and the "dead" menu is "live" again.
