Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1) Build Identifier: Mozilla does not support FTP: IT uses passive mode, which is not required by RFC959 specifications. And it is written there, that if any program supports FTP it must be able to work without passive mode, what your browser (and opera) cannot, therefore your browser doesn't support FTP. Read the following: The text from rfc 959, FTP protocol: " 5. DECLARATIVE SPECIFICATIONS 5.1. MINIMUM IMPLEMENTATION In order to make FTP workable without needless error messages, the following minimum implementation is required for all servers: TYPE - ASCII Non-print MODE - Stream STRUCTURE - File, Record COMMANDS - USER, QUIT, PORT, TYPE, MODE, STRU, for the default values RETR, STOR, NOOP. The default values for transfer parameters are: TYPE - ASCII Non-print MODE - Stream STRU - File All hosts must accept the above as the standard defaults. " All hosts MUST accept the above as the standard defaults. Mozilla doesn't support answer 500 command not supported, not even 502 command not implemented to PASV command. I expected answer like - no suppor for acive FTP, but not: "502 Command not supported.", or whatever server responds... So, either repair this, or remove FTP support from specifications. I think, it would be reasonable to give the user the oportunity to use active FTPs. There can be some security warnings, but if you don't allow this, you don't support FTP according to RFC959. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Reconnect 2. 3. Actual Results: Connection denied. Expected Results: Connect do FTP.
