When an image is blocked because I have marked the server for blocking, the
images are reliably not downloaded. Thank you. This is great. However, the A
HREF srrounding those images is still functional. The result is that I often
find myself clicking on innocent looking white space in order to bring the
window into the foreground and discovering that I am being sent to the
advertiser's site. In some ways this is more annoying than seeing the images.
A toggle option in the preferences that would allow the suppression of links
that contain blocked images would be great. Links that wrap more stuff (an ad
image AND some text, for example) can safely be blocked entirely by this option,
I think.
Thanks for all your hard work. Firebird has brought my Windows box one step
closer to using Microsoft only for its OS and my Linux box one step closer to
replacing it entirely.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Block images from an ad server
2. Reload the page
3. Click where the ad should be
