Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 When Firebird crashes (it happens from time to time) I lost the disk cache, so I have to rebuild it by visiting all the pages once again. For the modem user like me, it's a real pain in the ass. Oh, and my favicons in bookmarks are also lost. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run Firebird, 2. Visit, say, Google. 3. Kill the browser process and try to visit Google once again. Actual Results: Cache is lost. All images are loaded from network. Expected Results: Well, Firebird should not let this happen :)
The cache is dumped by design to avoid the issues that are opened by trying to preserve a damaged/crashed cache. See the duped bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 105843 ***
