I am both the default bug owner and QA contact of the NSPR product. Today I wanted to change bug 226609 from an NSPR bug to a Browser:XPCOM bug. I selected the option "Reassign bug to owner and QA contact of selected component". After I clicked on the Submit button, dougt@meer.net became the new bug owner, but I was still the QA contact. So I had to manually change the QA contact to nobody@mozilla.org.
XPCOM does not have a QA Contact defined, so there was nothing to replace it with. I think it would be better if it cleared the QA in that case, but that's bug 192571. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 192571 ***
