User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031016 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031016 When replying to email or composing a new email paste of text fails when cursor is at very start of document. If document is empty (as in a new email) the paste succeeds. As soon as text is already there, the paste will fail. Moving cursor anywhere else and allows a paste to work. This also occurred with 1.4 and also using the 1.5 version on a Windows 98 SE machine. If line 1 of the existing document is empty, the paste will succeed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Compose an email. 2.Enter some text. Line 1 must have text in it. 3.Use CTL-Home or move curor by mouse or keyboard to the start of the document 4.Paste clipboard data. 5. Watch nothing happen. Actual Results: No text was pasted. Expected Results: Clipboard data (text previously cut or copied) should have appeared.
