On this page, all fonts should be Arial. However, in M12, many come up as Times. For example, in both the main news article and "Quick Hits" section, only the first of each will be in Arial. The rest come up as Times. Captions on various other parts of the page also come up as Times when they should be Arial. This page comes up fine in Communicator 4.7 and IE5, so you can use their display as a reference.

This is going to be yet another DUP of bug 991, isn't it? [Checks page source] Yup. <FONT> tags surrounding blocks (more or less - <P> is being used as a separator, not a container, so that's an additional complication). It looks like the fix for 991 didn't get enabled by default in M12 after all, but the page displays properly in yesterday's M13 build. Does not work correctly with: M12 release on Windows NT 4.0sp3 Works correctly with: 1999-12-27-08-M13 nightly binary on Windows NT 4.0sp3 Based on that, marking as a (belated) DUP of the monstrous bug 991. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 991 ***
Verified dupe of bug 991 "font tags containing blocks are 'badly' parsed"
