"Copy link location" gets corrupted copy

Details
Under M12, the "copy link location" function from the context menu (button3 on a link) copies the URL, but also gets a string of nulls (^@ according to xclipboard, anyway). Seems to work reliably regardless of the source of the link. When copying a link to http://www.mozilla.org from that same URL, the result is "http://www.mozilla.org/[23 nulls here]" The number of nulls appears to equal the number of printable chars in the URL.
