mailnews should warn me before opening multiple messages

If I click on a message then shift-click on another message, thus selecting
let's say 20 messages, and then press the Enter key, Mozilla goes berserk trying
to open up these messages.
I think Mozilla should warn me, by saying:
"Are you sure you want to open 100 messages? This may cause your physical RAM
to fill up which in the end, may force you to reboot your computer."
