This is not a duplicate! I have read bug 145895 and also bug 160468 (wich 145895 is marked as dupe of) That bugs are about wrapping at fixed width (in chars) *I want dynamic wrap* when composing a message PD: Hey, do you read bug reports or you have a process called "duped" ("d" for daemon) wich marks bugs with many similar words?

There is a preference that allows the plain text mail composer to wrap at window width, called: mail.compose.wrap_to_window_width This will dynamically wrap as you compose to the window width, but the mail that gets sent will be wrapped into lines of a fixed length. This feature does not work entirely correctly -- see bug 233705.
