window.parent
When a window is loaded in a frameset, its parent is .

false

Actually I believe that (window.parent == window) should ALWAYS be evaluate to
FALSE. How parent of the window and the window itself can ever be the same
objects? (No matter where the expression is evaluated.)
But Mozilla/Gecko/Firefox (or whatever) evaluates this expression to TRUE when a
window has no parent (which I believe is bug, and that's how I came to this
particular bug-report :o) ...
May be I'm wrong but I think this bug-report should be marked as INVALID.

If you are talking about the fact that also MSIE evaluates that comparation to
TRUE, than that's what I've noted in my bug-report too; still I believe it's not
proper behaqviour.

here's the bug-report:

If you could explain to why is it that non-frame window has itself as a parent
(in "parent" property) I would be grateful.
(I mean it; I don't think of myself as a programmer-guru.)
thanks in advance
