User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 When clicking on a link from other software such as an email client, or instant messaging multiple tabs open if there are pipes in the querystring. For example: http://www.yahoo.com?b=1|2|3|4|5 If clicked on from Outlook Express, Thunderbird, Mozilla Mail, or an instant message will open firebird with five tabs. The first tab will have the http://www.yahoo.com?b=1 url. The second tab will do some sort of background search and redirect to a different url. The third tab will go to another url, etc for the five tabs. If I type the above url directly into the location bar the described behavior does not happen. The url opens as typed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set Firebird as your default browser. 2. Send yourself an email with the url http://www.yahoo.com?b=1|2|3|4|5 3. Click on the link when you receive the email. 4. Firebird will open with five tabs. First tab has http://www.yahoo.com?b=1, second tab does some sort of lookup for "2", third tab does lookup for "3" etc. Actual Results: Firebird opens with five tabs. Expected Results: I would expect a single tab to be opened to the url I clicked on. This is the behavior on Mozilla 1.5. I have not implemented any kind of skin etc. A co-worked installed a fresh version of Firebird (never been installed before) and had the same behavior.
