When sites use the CSS background-image property (and perhaps also standard HTML
background images) tabs loaded in the background do not download the images
until the tab is given focus by the user. This causes the page to not be
completely loaded when Mozilla shows that it is.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1) Load a page, or several pages in tabs that use CSS background-image property.
(This usually happens from me middle clicking on a bookmark tab, but can happen
in other ways also.)
2) Make sure that your focus is on a different tab while the site(s) are loading.
3) After they have finished loading (wait as long as you want) click on the tab
to view it.
Actual Results:
Mozilla does not draw the background-images right away, but will after a few
seconds. My guess is that it has not downloaded the images when it loaded in the
background, and when it gets focus it starts to.
Expected Results:
Mozilla should download all the background images before it shows the tab status
as being loaded. It should also display the background imaes right away when the
tab gets focus instead of waiting few seconds.
