228910 - The "Show Download Manager..." preference is reset after closing and relaunching firebird

I unchecked the preference to show the Download Manager, but when I close
firebird and restart her, it has been mysteriously re-checked. :(

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to Tools>Options>Downloads
2. uncheck "Show Download Manager window..." preference
3. close firebird
4. start firebird 
5. go back to Tools>Options>Downloads
6. notice that the "Show Download Manager window..." pref has been re-checked

Actual Results:  
the pref is now checked, instead of being unchecked.

Expected Results:  
uhm...left it unchecked? ;)

Is it just that option, or other options too? If it's all preferences, then this
is a duplicate of bug 228882.
