22910 - Long page title caused funny look in "Go" and "Task" menu item

If you have a really long page title both the "Go" and "Task" menu item look
kind of fun. The page title should be truncated in those menu items.

What build are you using? What platform do you mean by "Other"? Please review the
bug writing guidelines (http://www.mozilla.org/quality/bug-writing-
guidelines.html) and provide more information --- I'm not seeing this bug on a
current (1.3.00) build.

The menus for Go and Tasks look odd for pages with extremely long titles.  The
example will resize the browser to 640x480 to emphasize this.

1. Load attached test page.  (This should change the page size to 640x480)
2. Select Go or Tasks menu

Menus display with entire text of page title.  Menu will extend beyond
boundaries of browser. and screen.

In N4.x, the title is abbreviated so that the menu width is "normal".

Build 1999123008 on Win98

I'll give it a try with the latest build (as soon as it downloads) and update
the bug if it has been fixed.

Saari, there are two separate problems here, reproduced on 2000010408 build,
using NT 4.0 SP5. One of them is probably yours, the other may be yours or
History's.

#1: If you do the below steps to reproduce on a 640x480 display and traverse the
Tasks menu (pass over My Wallet and Tools), you'll see a fragment of the Tasks
menu being drawn on top of menu.

#2: It may be a good idea to automatically shorten long menu items, such as when
they exceed the window boundary. Not sure if that would be done in XP Menus, or
if you'd want the folks providing menu content to do so when they generate the
menu item content.
