Build Date & Platform Bug Found:
Linux commercial seamonkey build 2000-01-03-08-m13 installed on P200 RedHat 6.1
Overview Description:
Under the Messenger Start Page preference, when you click on the "select file"
button, the dialog appears but all the buttons and fields are non-responsive.
The cancel button does not dismiss the dialog. I can close the dialog if I
click on the 'X' off the title bar or right click on the title bar.
Once I dismiss the select file dialog, I have trouble closing the mail
preference window.
Steps to Reproduce:
1) Start seamonkey
Browser window opens
2) Select the Edit|Preference
The preference window appears
3) Highlight the 'Mail and Newsgroups' category
4) Under the section 'Messenger Start Page', click on the 'select file' button
The browser dialog appears
5) Try to click on a button or type any field
Nothing happens.
Actual Results:
I can't seem to do anything in the browse dialog. The ok and cancel button
don't appear to do anything. I can't type in the fields.
Expected Results:
This dialog should be function like other browse dialogs
Additional Builds and Platforms Tested On:
This problem also occurs on Linux commercial seamonkey build 2000-01-02-09-m13.
This problem does not occur on win32 or macos 2000-01-02-09-m13.
Additional Information:
I can work around the problem if I manually type in the file location in the
location field.
