User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 Popups are are not blocked (although the popup alert button is activated on the status bar) when moving the mouse over the link with the "onmouseover" property launching the popup call. I have confirmed this with Firebird 0.7, Mozilla 1.6b on windows 2000, Firebird 0.7 on Windows XP, and Firebird 0.6 on Linux. Note that on Windows XP, Firebird 0.7 was not displaying the alert on the status bar. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to the http://www.pcssafe.com/popuptestgeneral.html website 2.Move the mouse over the link "Move your mouse here" Actual Results: Popups appeared although the the popup alert button appeared in the status bar (on windows 2000, with Mozilla Firebird 0.7, and Mozilla 1.6b). On XP with Firebird 0.7 the alert button did not show up. On Linux with Mozilla 0.6, exactly the same behaviour as on Windows 2000 was observed. Expected Results: The popup should not appear, and the the popup alert button should appear on the status bar.
The alert in the status bar shows that a popup has been blocked (the page tries several popups just while it is loading). This bug is a dup of bug 152167, but I'm leaving open just due to have several bug reports in it (don't do that, always report one problem in each bug report)
Maybe I'm missing something in that logic... but this is just a dup. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 152167 ***
