XHTML documents with MIME application/xhtml+xml are not rendered during their
downloading (in this way are rendered text/html documents), but only after is
download completed.
Compare two examples:
1) application/xhtml+xml: http://megaweb.cz/mozilla/xhtml.php
2) text/html: http://megaweb.cz/mozilla/xhtml.php?noxml=1
In both examples is simulated pause (called php sleep() function several times).
You can see the 1th is renreded only after the download is completed, but the
2nd is rendered correctly during download.
MIME type application/xhtml+xml is correct for XHTML documents - see
http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml-media-types/#summary and for XHTML 1.1 you cannot use
text/html
So, I think, Mozilla should rendered application/xhtml+xml XHTML documents in
the same way as HTML document during downloading.

The reason for the delay is that we must see if it is a valid XML document first
(well-formed, and all that). Obviously without downloading the whole thing, we
cannot know that.
