User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20040101 Firebird/0.7+
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20040101 Firebird/0.7+
When I type a keyword in the address bar and hit enter, Firebird no longer does
a "I'm feeling lucky" google search with the keyword, but instead tries to
resolve the keyword to a hostname.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Type "adblock" in the address bar, hit enter
Actual Results:
- Firebird tries to resolve the host "adblock"
- The host resolution doesn't timeout
- The Firebird process takes 100% of the CPU
- "Spinning Beach Ball of Death" locks Firebird
Expected Results:
Firebird should have performed a "I'm feeling lucky" google query and redirected
to http://adblock.mozdev.org/
This used to work as expected with 20031220.

Confirmed Windows XP.
I believe this regressed in the last week or so; I didn't test many builds over
the holidays.
This is pretty major since it locks up Firebird and the new help component
specifically drums up URL guessing on the first page of help. I'd recommend
severity=major or critical.
