View the URL specified... there are four images attached to the post, but all are 404 (not found). Expected results: - broken image icon displayed for each. Actual results: - nothing displayed I have trouble believing this problem isn't already filed somewhere, but my cursory searches turned up nothing, so here we are.
i've noticed this too. seems to happen when the broken images code does NOT have an ALT tag
Product: Browser → Seamonkey
In Firefox 1.5 this problem occurs if the alt tag exists but is empty. In case there is no alt tag at all or there is an alt tag with contents the little "image loading" icon is shown.
http://forums.freshalloy.com/ubbthreads/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Board=UBB27&Number=67633163&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&vc=1 is now 404 Not Found, clearing URL field in bug header. If you can see this bug in a recent build (I can't) please comment with the full "Build Identifier" line found at the bottom of "Help → About SeaMonkey", and clear details of how to reproduce the problem. No earlier versions than 2.0.14 please, and preferably 2.1 or later.

Seems like this is a design choice... rather than a bug. Still it would be great to have the option to turn this on. I don't even see an option for it in about:config... It'd be great to have that option in there. When I Google for solutions or addons there's a CSS method that doesn't seem to work in FF 8 any more.
Closing as INVALID/WORKING AS DESIGNED.
