230296 - Feature Request: Ability to choose "mark as read" behaviour ala Outlook.

I would like to see an option in Mail & News Preferences that allows me to
dictate whether Moz. will mark mail as read when:

1. I highlight it.
2. View message for 5 seconds.
3. Explicity mark the mail as read.

The 3rd option below is the one I would use, but now, the first option is done
by default with no way to modify this behaviour.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Mail
2. Click a few messages

Actual Results:  
Note that they are all marked as read, even though you did not actually "Read" them.

Expected Results:  
allow me to control this behaviour.

Thank you for your hard work on the Mozilla project. I love your browser, and
use Mozilla Mail & News, and calendar, as an alternative to Outlook, I will
never go back!
