Flash movies (*.swf) are rapidly replacing animated gifs as the medium of choice
for advertisers (ie banner adds). An option to 'block flash from this server'
would be loved!
A way of achieving this result would be to modify the existing image blocking
functionality into something more generic - ie allowing 'user defined'
extensions so people could add *.swf (for example) to the list of 'image types'
(these are presumably hard coded at present).
This would turn 'image blocking' into a more generic 'extension-based content
download controls'.
