Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113 When create a new window, it is good to have the cursor in the location bar. But, when I click on a link that opens a new window, I'd prefer if the focus was on the content area. This allows me to page down with the space bar. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click link that opens content in a new window. 2. Press space bar to page down. 3. Watch in horror as a space is added to the address in the location bar Actual Results: The address in the location bar is edited (a space, or more, is/are added). Expected Results: Mozilla should have had the focus on the content area so that presssing the space bar would result in a page down. It is unlikely that an individual is going to open a link in a new window only to edit the location (i.e. choose to go somewhere else) or even copy the address without reading the page's contents first.
