User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.4.1) Gecko/20031114 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.4.1) Gecko/20031114 I commonly use ssh to connect to work from home. Once I have a ssh session up I have a local port forward to the proxy server at work so I can reach the internal sites. I often switch between wanting the proxy enabled and wanting to go back to the "direct" setting. I know that I could use the domain name steering to make only those with sites withj work's domain go thorugh the proxy, but sometimes I want to connect from the "outside" and without the proxy. Basically this is my request. A quick way to turn proxy setting from "direct" to "manual" without having to dig through the menus and prefs dialog. Somelike like a button on the lower right next to the cookie info button. This feature would also be useful for people who setup local proxies to filter ad's cookies etc. Sometimes they may want to go direct to a site. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: N/A it's an enhancement request. Actual Results: I have to dig through the menus and then the prefs screen. Expected Results: I would like to have a quick button to turn the proxy setting quickly from enable to disable without interaction with the menu etc...
