From the menu bar choose:
Help | About Mozilla Firebird
which opens the About Mozilla Firebird dialog. The dialog contains a hyperlink
for the text "Copyright and contributor information".
Click on the link. A new browser window is launched will the URL "about:". This
window is based on the About Mozilla Firebird dialog and is not showing up in
the Windows taskbar.
Hit the key sequence "ctrl-n" to open a new window from the browser dispalying
the "about:" URL. Any subsequent browsers opened with the "ctrl-n" key sequence
will prevent the user from clicking on or viewing the content of the browser
from which it was based.

the fix should be present in 0.8, which is going to be released very soon
