User-Agent: Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.6.1 StumbleUpon/1.81 There's a password-protected site I have bookmarked with a favicon. Every time I open the bookmark folder with that site, the permission dialog pops up. This is annoying as it usually requires me to close the bookmarks menu to interact with the dialog. Everything works fine after I "OK" this dialog, it doesn't try to request more than once. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Bookmark a page with a favicon that requires authentication. 2. Restart the browser. 3. Open the bookmark folder with that bookmark. Actual Results: The authentication dialog pops up. Expected Results: Something other than steal focus from the bookmark menu. Perhaps show the normal icon until the page is actually viewed? Perhaps cache the favicon in some user folder? Perhaps automatically login (but probably not)?
this is a dupe, I'll look later if no one finds it first
