Details

User-Agent: Build Identifier: No matter how incomplete SVG-support currently is, SVG should be included into the default build, because: 1) The real fancy features aren't usually needed anyway, but there is demand of simple features. For example I want to display text rotated by 90° which is something you currently can't do using html/css (AFAIK). 2) In some cases you can tell users to download Mozilla, but telling them to download a specialized build that will break after every upgrade is just not feasible and a support nightmare. 3) The specialized build is also not available as Firebird and also not with localization. 4) Having SVG in Mozilla would be a great boost for the format. 5) SVG support would also be a big boost for Mozilla itself. and the most important reason: 6) There is simply no downside for including SVG, in my opinion. It doesn't hurt anybody when it's there but not used. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
