Several people at http://www.appleforum.com (Korean Mac user group web page) complained that after installing Windows media player 9, Mozilla 1.6 and Firefox 0.8 (and earlier) can't 'render' flash animation. In place of flash animations, they reported that 'Windows media player' (without any conctent) comes up. I'll add the URLs of some sites with the problem once I get them from those who experienced the problem. (I don't have a mac so that I can't test it myself)
The screenshot is available at http://www.appleforum.com/attachment.php?s=&postid=192060 http://www.sbs.co.kr was taken a shot of. Note that there's a dummy window media player in the top image where 'gif' image is in the bottom image (Safari). So, it's not just flash. Other sites with the problem: http://www.daum.net http://www.naver.com http://www.nate.com http://www.auction.co.kr http://reasonuser.ibbun.com/ http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/productinfo/features/brz_tour/?promoid=product_flash_ondemand_tour_092603
Oops.Sorry the top image is Safari and the bottom image is Firefox at http://www.appleforum.com/attachment.php?s=&postid=192060
