I may be missing something, but a great big huge [Download FireFox Today] button might help.

I'm attaching my failed attempt at a CVS update as an option.

Also, the Download Now! link in the left hand channel displays "MacOS9 and earlier are not supported" 
when viewed with Camino on Panther.

on OS X (10.3 Panther).

Yes, confirmed download text and image shows up in Safari/Camino/IE5 on Panther.
