Details
User-Agent:
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8
When I was downloading a file, I wanted to shut down my PC, so I pressed Pause
file in the download manager to continue another time. I did that and pressed
the -x- in the download manager, it warned me that it would cancel my download,
so I thought: well I'll leave it downloading then. I clicked "Don't exit" and
then pressed resume, but it didn't work no longer: it took 100% CPU usage for
explorer.exe (caused by firefox, because when I closed down firefox it went back
to normal)
Reproducible: Didn't try
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Pause a file that you are downloading
2. Click the X button
3. Click Don't exit
4. Click Resume file
Actual Results:
It took 100% CPU usage on explorer.exe and it didn't continue downloading,
instead, it started acting completely weird (hanging etc)
Expected Results:
It should just have resumed the download

I see this bug on: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b)
Gecko/20040302 Firefox/0.8.0+ and also on Linux too.
I don't get the weird CPU usage, but the file did not continue downloading.

This bug is still present in Mozilla 1.7.2 and Firefox 0.9.3 but the steps to
reproduce the bug are much simpler:
1) Start downloading a file
2) Press the pause button and wait for some time
3) Press resume
Expected result: the download continues
Actual result: the download does not continue and has to be cancelled
Someone (the submitter or the owner) should change severity and priority to some
higher level.
Suggestion for a new summary: During Download: Pressing "PAUSE", wait some time,
press "RESUME" does not work
