This is a feature/enhancement request. Netscape 4.78 the Messenger application
allows you to move back and forward through a history of mails using the
alt+[left arrow], and alt+[right arrow] keys on the keyboard. I've found this
to be quite useful when traversing several messages in threads, or when I want
to see the last message I was viewing after switching messages and changing the
sort order for instance. It also maintained the history forward and back if a
message was deleted by taking the deleted message out of the history and placing
the new current message in that history spot. Unfortunately I've found no other
mail client with this functionality.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the mail client
2. View various messages (from different folders if you wish)
3. Hold down the alt key, and press the left arrow.

Actual Results:
In Mozilla: Nothing.
In Netscape 4.78, the list pane selected the previous message viewed, and the
preview pane displayed that message.

Expected Results:
Ideally, Mozilla would have done what Netscape did.

As far as I know, this feature is not based on any particular hardware or any
other browser, or mail client setting. It would just be really cool, as that
functionality is the major feature keeping me using Netscape 4.78 for mail, and
the browser that accompanies it is currently far out of date for most web sites
these days.
