User-Agent:
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-DE; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040210 Firefox/0.8
Drag & drop the adress http://www.reactos.de from the location bar into the
bookmarks sidebar (bookmark manager too) is impossible.
I'm using the German localized version of Firefox (www.firebird-browser.de)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to the http://www.reactos.de Website
2. open Bookmarks Sidebar (Ctrl+B)
3. try to drag & drop the document symbol from the location bar into bookmars bar
Actual Results:
The mousee cursor becomes a "No-Drop" cursor. And no bookmark is dropped on
releasing the mouse button.
Expected Results:
The adress must be dropped as a new bookmark.

Confirming with Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20040217
Firebird/0.8.0+.
Drag & Drop to the Bookmarks Toolbar doesn't work either.
Bug 235001 describes the same problem in Seamonkey. The URL given there
(http://www.brunsviga-kulturzentrum.de/) doesn't work in Firefox, too.

The JavaScript console shows
Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code:

(NS_NOINTERFACE)" location: "JS frame ::

data: no]
when the mouse button is released over the Bookmarks Toolbar, but nothing when
trying to bookmark the page via drag and drop into the sidebar.

I think this is a dupe of 235113 (though newer, it has more information and
references to two sites that actually loaded for me).

Found a minor bug in the 20040730 builds regarding this:
If I drag from the location bar to the bookmarks sidebar so the bookmark would
be positioned between two folders, so it shows the horizontal line indicating
the position the bookmark would go, but then decide not to create the bookmark,
and release the mouse back over the location bar, the blue indicator line
remains. It continues to redraw even though the mouse isn't being held down
anymore and I'm not adding a bookmark.
