the dropdown menu under Unit should populate with the correct unit;
however it does not. 

This works under i.e.


Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. open mozilla or firefox 
2. goto https://intragale.jhmi.edu
3. select from departments dropdown any items

Actual Results:  
the unit item dropdown menu is empty.
containing only one entry that is empty.

Expected Results:  
the unit dropdown menu should have been filled - for ocology:
Oncology 5A
Oncology 5B
Oncology 5C
Oncology 5D
Oncology Administration
Oncology Outpatient





looking at the html in both firefox and ie it looks like there is some
browser sniffing going on here.  So, it could be possible this is just
a poorly written page.  My friend works at john hopkins and will be 
contacting the vastech support through john hopkins.  I'll post
any new information I find to this bug.

It's not just browser-sniffing (which would be fine), it's assuming that like in
IE in all browsers foo['bar'] and foo('bar') are the same thing.  They're not.

INCOMPLETE due to lack of activity since the end of 2009.

If someone is willing to investigate the issues raised in this bug to determine whether they still exist, *and* work with the site in question to fix any existing issues, please feel free to re-open and assign to yourself.
