23561 - [AUTOMATIC COPY ON SELECT] unable to paste selection from mozilla into xterm

call me lame, but I do this all the time:

I select the url in the url bar, and
paste it (middle button) into an xterm.

if I do select some text, and then hit
Alt C (to copy) then middle button works,
since the text got into the clip
board.

the desired effect on linux would be to put the last selected text into
the
clipboard.

akkana think shaver may own this / have a dup for this.  clarify bug in summary
and re-assign to shaver.
