I've finally been able to upgrade from the 2/3 nightly to something recent (2/25), and I've noticed a regression: On a web page that has no font specified (an example is my website), the font specified in the preferences should be applied. In the 2/3 nightly, my specified font (Adobe Caslon Pro) is used. In the 2/25 nightly, Times is always used. I couldn't find any current bugs that seemed to be relevant. I'm currently investigating to see if I can find the actual build in which it regressed. builds 2004020303 and 2004022508
OK, I've narrowed this down. Fonts were fine in nightlies up to 2/18 (2004021808). Nightlies 2/19-2/24 were busted (bug 234916) so I couldn't test them. The 2/25 nightly (2004022508) has this font problem. I cannot narrow it down any further.
dbaron, this is probably related to the japanese issues with fonts in the other bug, no? avi, can you see if this happens with firefox as well?
I am seeing this with firefox also, Feb 26th build.
