User-Agent: Build Identifier: various The HTML in the page above causes mozilla to go to 99% CPU utilization. It happens with mozilla 1.3 on linux (slackware) and 1.6 on win2k. As I recall it was also happening in 1.5 on win2k. I tried to make the code snippet as small as possible to demonstrate the bug. Hope this helps. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use the top command in linux or the task manager in window 2. Visit the page 3. Witness the high CPU usage. Actual Results: The mozilla executable will consume all available CPU cycles.

No problem at all with 1.7a in winXP, Mozilla uses 0% CPU with that page.

No undue cpu usage with a current trunk linux build...

I got a CPU spike from it on OS/2 trunk, but very brief.
