User-Agent:
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:) Gecko/20040227
When Moz is started after install, the default browser dialog appears asking if
you'd like to set it as the default when it already was before the install, same
thing when the mail window is opened. Seems to have started with the 20040226xx
install. See bug 234804
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install
2. Start
3. See happy-fun dialog
Actual Results:
The previous settings should have been honored as it always has. (unless of
course it's the first install and IE and Outhouse were the default handlers.
Expected Results:
No see dialogs since prefs already were set for moz to handle both.
I blame leaf (or ssu if he's not available).
See bug 198081 -- GRE cleanup routine seems to be the cause.

This might be a dupe of bug 213733.
Well, the moz installer was doing the right thing until the GRE cleanup was
fixed. THe older bug may be another issue.
