Details
User-Agent: Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113 If I select Internet Options from the Windows Control Panel, or if I open up Internet Options within Microsoft Internet Explorer, then click on the Programs tab, Mozilla Mail does show up as an option for the default E-mail program. However, it does not show up as an option for the default Newsgroups reader. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Internet options on the Windows Control Panel or right-click on the Internet Explorer icon on the desktop and select Properties or select Tools, the "Internet Options..." from the Internet Explorer menubar 2. Click on the Programs tab 3. Open the Newsgroups pull-down menu, notice that Mozilla Mail and Newsgroups is not an option (also, for e-mail, it should say Mozilla Mail and Newsgroups, not just Mozilla Mail) Actual Results: Mozilla Mail and Newsgroups was not an option to use as the default Newsgroups program. Expected Results: Mozilla Mail and Newsgroups should be an option to use as the default Newsgroups program

Isn't this a Windows bug? IIRC, you can't set the default newsreader to anything but OE or Outlook in Windows.
