User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla Thunderbird 0.5 (20040207) When printing a mail, Thunderbird prints the headers subject, from, date and to, and then the body. However, it can be very annoying if the list of recipients is big, because we end up with a lot of paper wasted. So, it would be nice if we can have the ability to select the headers to be printed. The page setup currenlty only allows to change the format and the margins. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. select a mail in thunderbird 2. File / Print Actual Results: the mail is printed with the list of recipients
I have to confirm for mozilla 1.6. Please implement the feature !
Yes, nice idea! And please seperate the selection of headers to be displayed when reading mail from the selection of headers to be printed. Something like View - Headers - Display o All o Normal - Print o All o Normal
I have the same problem in Mozilla 1.7.3. It is very annoying to have to waste half or more of the page on headers instead of the actual content of the mail.
I don't think it should go in the "View" menu - perhaps "File - Page Setup" would be a better place? That is where header and footer are configured for printing.
Owner of this bug: This component should be changed from "Window" to general as it is not a window problem, I think. Also, please change OS from Win98 to "all" as I have this gripe with Win2k. Hopefully this will result in better visibility for this bug.
