Every time I login the process starts and ends with a blank screen. Login works fine with older versions or IE. WORKSFORME Reporter, Tested on version 1.7 and was unable to recreate. Please download latest build from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/nightly/latest-trunk/ and confirm. Thank you.
I check my emails on Hotmail every 2-3 days, using the latest beta or final version available. I cannot reproduce your bug. Just checked now with Mozilla 1.6 final: everything runs fine. This bug is INVALID for me!
Hotmail has been known for having problems this week: http://news.zdnet.co.uk/software/applications/0,39020384,39148611,00.htm I also was able to login to a hotmail account I setup. It's possible (likely) there are still some issues with hotmail. I know someone the other day saying they had problems, and were using IE. That would be my bet. It's server related. Some are having problems, some aren't. Some get error messages, some don't. 3 people including myself can access it. So it's apparantly not a mozilla bug.

didn't some cookie format change at one point? I seem to remember it was required to delete old hotmail cookie to set a new one right again.
Don't know for what reason but I can replicate this problem on all my computers using different versions of XP with Mozilla 1.6 (international and de-at version). Moving to 1.7b solved the issue.
