It's been assigned over and over and over. When I open Mozilla (just Mozilla)
and I have new mail, I'll never know it because the mail and newsgroups icon
lays stagnant. When I open mail and newsgroups and new mail is in, of course
then the icon changes and i hear the familiar "Blinggg" notification sound. I
don't wish nor do I desire to open the mail & n.g. window to see if I have new
mail, JUST like I DIDN'T HAVE TO with Netscape 4.6, 4.7, 4.8 . Come on guys,
write me some code to make it work!!

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Mozilla, no notification.
2. Open Mozilla, then open Mail and Newsgroups. If new mail, Green arrow and
"Bling" sound.
3. Dont open Mail and newsgroups, check webmail. If I have new mail, The icon
sure as heck wouldnt let me know it UNTIL I OPEN MAIL AND NEWSGROUPS.

Actual Results:  
I got mad and discouraged!. It's easier to get a septic tank pumped than get any
Mozilla version or Netscape version after 4.9 to let you know you have new mail
without opening the blasted mail and newsgroups client.

Expected Results:  
Install Netscape 4.x and configure mail. Launch it and see what happens when
mail rolls in. Don't even open the mail client at all, you dont have to. New
mail, Green arrow on icon. Ba da bow, Ba da bing!

Please write code to make it work. It seems so simple to just duplicate what NS
4.x did. I will thank you for handling the problem finally if you do.
