23861 - Mozilla M12 performs illegal operation in Preferences highlighting after trigger

Upon startup of the mozilla app, M12, if user clicks the "Customize.." button on
the My Panels window, then clicks the "Cancel" button, then goes into
Edit->Preferences, any
highlighting of an option on the left hand side will result in the Windows
"This program has performed an illegal opertion" box
Output is:
MOZILLA caused an invalid page fault in module GKHTML.DLL at 0137:6022cec8
Registers, Bytes at EIP, and Stack Dump available if needed.

i don't see this problem using today's build 2000-01-13-08. could you please try
with a recent version? thanks! i'm going to mark this as WFM for now...

paulmac, have you ever seen this occur with older builds (asking since it
touches on the Sidebar area).

yes, this was a major bug in m12 but was fixed soon after, marking verified

Bulk move of all Pref UI component bugs to new Preferences component.  Pref UI 
component will be deleted.
