User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040326 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040326 When i try to "save a page as..", either a blank page, Mozilla hangs. No dialbox to choose where save the html files or samething else, simply hang (the menu file open to choose "save file as" remain open and frozen) My CPU work at 97/99 % and the only think i can do is to kill mozilla. The problem is present with any mozilla 1.7b and with the nightly revision created from 1.7b i have tested. The 1.7a does not have the problem Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.open mozilla 2.open file menu 3.click on "file save as" Actual Results: mozilla hang Expected Results: dialbox to choose where to save the html file my linux ditribution is Mandrake 10.0 RC1 (kde 3.2 + kernel 2.6.2). With the old ditribution Mandrake 9.1 the problem seems not be present.
have you set up an application to open html files? In preferences->helper apps or your ~/.mailcap file?
(In reply to comment #1) > have you set up an application to open html files? > In preferences->helper apps or your ~/.mailcap file? OK! (last nigth probably i was tired) In "Preferences -> helper applications" there isnt any instruction about html files. The same in the .mailcap file in my home dir. But i have the problem with different user (so different .mailcap). I try to see /etc/mailcap and in this file i have 2 lines: .................. text/html; /usr/bin/links '%s'; needsterminal; description=HTML Text; nametemplate=%s.html ................... ................... text/html; /usr/bin/mozilla %s ................... The second line is ok but in may system there was no links installet. I try to install the links and the problem is disappeared. I think this problem is similar to 237947 bug.
