I have 1280*1024 on 19". On some sites the font is too small to read the text
without problems.
So my wish is to be able set the font size (and the font itself?) of bookmarked
page in bookmark properties.

any hope for beta?
Probably not for beta 1 ...
Summary: set in bookmarks properties font size → [RFE] set in bookmarks properties font size

This is almost a duplicate of bug 7380 (`Support all prefs on a URL by URL
basis'). Once 7380 was implemented, you'd need two things to satisfy this bug:
(1) a context menu item for a bookmark, which -- when selected -- would open the
prefs window at the zone which covered the bookmark's URI, or give the
option of creating a new zone to cover the URI;
(2) a dialog which asked, if a bookmark's address was changed and the bookmark
had been included in a zone, how the zone should be updated (if at all) to
include the new address.

Reassigning 79 Bookmarks bugs to Ben. I was told this was going to be done
shortly about two months ago, but it clearly hasn't been. I think that's long
enough for all these bugs to remain assigned to nobody.
Feel free to filter all this spam into the trashcan by looking for this string

Paul Chen is now taking Bookmarks bugs. For your convenience, you can filter
email notifications caused by this by searching for 'ilikegoats'.

INVALID? WONTFIX?
there's already a minimum font size setting in Preferences.
Depends on: 7380
Summary: [RFE] set in bookmarks properties font size → store font size settings in bookmarks properties

FYI, Galeon remembers zoom settings on a per-site basis.
It makes the web much more usable - the use of font sizes between sites is
completely inconsistent. Without that feature, I find myself adjusting the zoom
heaps.
I just switched from Galeon to Mozilla, & that is the only Galeon feature I miss.
[The minimum font size setting doesn't do it for me. There are valid uses of
smaller-than-normal text. Setting the minimum font size to my prefered normal
text size would break pages which make sensible use of small text.]

While it would be good to have the URL-based control implied by makeng this bug
dependent on 7380, I think there's still a case to be made for allowing a font
size multiplier factor to be stored with a specific bookmark, and to allow
different bookmarks to have different multipliers (and maybe other variable
attributes as well).
Also, how should this capability be exposed in the bookmark UI? I'd like to see
a control/controls (checkbox?) in the revised bookmark dialog (as illustrated in
bug 196756) to set preferences based on the actual display settings in force at
the time the bookmark is created.

This bug report is registered in the SeaMonkey product, but has been without a comment since the inception of the SeaMonkey project. This means that it was logged against the old Mozilla suite and we cannot determine that it's still valid for the current SeaMonkey suite. Because of this, we are setting it to an UNCONFIRMED state.
If you can confirm that this report still applies to current SeaMonkey 2.x nightly builds, please set it back to the NEW state along with a comment on how you reproduced it on what Build ID, or if it's an enhancement request, why it's still worth implementing and in what way.
If you can confirm that the report doesn't apply to current SeaMonkey 2.x nightly builds, please set it to the appropriate RESOLVED state (WORKSFORME, INVALID, WONTFIX, or similar).
If no action happens within the next few months, we move this bug report to an EXPIRED state.

MASS-CHANGE:
This bug report is registered in the SeaMonkey product, but still has no comment since the inception of the SeaMonkey project 5 years ago.
Because of this, we're resolving the bug as EXPIRED.
If you still can reproduce the bug on SeaMonkey 2 or otherwise think it's still valid, please REOPEN it and if it is a platform or toolkit issue, move it to the according component.
