RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 232172

Details

I often need to open my home page in a new tab and so instinctively middle click the home page button on the navigation toolbar. This unfortunately doesn't work. Given that middle-clicking practically anything else that functions as a link does open it in a tab (anchors, bookmarks etc), this is an inconsistency in the UI. To reproduce: - Middle-click the home page button in the nav toolbar Expected: - My home page should open in a new tab (including opening about:blank in a new tab if that is what my home page is set to) Actual: - Nothing happens
this is a dupe, an ancient dupe at that (click modifiers is in the summary)
