Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040227 Firefox/0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040227 Firefox/0.8 I middle-clicked on a tab, and the error message "re is not a valid protocol" appeared. Apparently, middle-click behaviour is random on 0.8-linux, since the other results I've achieved include page reloading, redirection to the home page, and visitation of previous pages in my browsing history. The expected behaviour was to have the tab close itself. This works fine on Win32, but Linux is another (badly broken) beast altogether. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. open a page in a new tab 2. middle-click on ANY tab 3. watch the current tab for bizarre behaviour Actual Results: "re is not a valid protocol" message appeared Expected Results: close the tab
