I just printed the part of the page given in URL, trying to save on paper I decided to strip the header and footer. Steps to reproduce: 1. Select content of the page given in the URL, without header and footer. 2. Select "file>print...", "print selection", "OK." Expected result: The printout is text from the highlighted range, black on white background, as originally rendered without selection. Actual results: Background of the letters is grey on the printout, just like on the screen at the moment of pressing "print" - that is with all the selection I had used to mark part to be printed. Printing out the selection highlight could make sense while printing all/selected pages, so the user could highlight interesting pieces of the whole text. Printing the highlight itself when everything to be printed is highlighted and the highlight is only marking the printout boundaries definitely misses its point. Note if I click on the page to remove the selection highlight, and print page ranges, the text appears without the grey background - the origin of the grey background is selection of the text, as rendered on screen. Config: Linux 2.6.1-gentoo-r1, CUPS 1.1, filter Foomatic/hpijs, printer: hpdj845c, USB. Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040210
